Hornby Intercity 225 Electric Train Set. R.824

This is the kind of thing that used to be THE present at Xmas you’d get, which you’d been asking for all year, but still not-so sure if Santa really came through this time…

He didn’t in childhood, yet made up for it here : )

I haven’t got the room to play with it though, or else I’d quite happily test it to make sure everything’s as it should be; yet, it looks like it’s never been out of the box, so all good.

Has a really large track mat with it, which has a bit of an elliptical tear in it, yet that’s been quite repaired.
