A flying ace of the First World War, Victor Emmanuel Groom was a Vice-Marshal at the time he was given this ‘”Restricted'” Pilot’s Flying Manual, courtesy of the Air Ministry.
Whether he really read much, if any, of it we’ll never know, but it was his and he wrote his name in it, in case he lost it someplace on base or wherever I’m guessing.
So, yes. This is a one-off special item.
