“One of the most ‘bizarre’ objects we’ve ever made is a toothpaste squeezer. This mysterious object made of chrome-plated brass, which stands on a refined base decorated with the natural material, hides its surprising function under an enigmatic aesthetic; the rotation of the tube squeezer allows you to obtain just the right amount of toothpaste without wasting any of the product. Always present in our collection, it is still one of the objects most in demand and most utilized today, despite being one of the most curious and original articles we have produced.”
Yep. A great bathroom gadget from mid 20th Century Italy, made by G. Lorenzi (later to become Lorenzi Milano). If you click here you’ll get an idea of what this particular item means…
This one is a really early version of what would come to be a highly luxurious and expensive bathroom oddity, useful that it may be.
I haven’t tried it out, so not sure;
Feels to me like it should be in a museum really.

I’ve written to the Lorenzi Milano, so I’ll let you know what comes of that. Even if you buy it I’ll still discuss findings, especially if you’re doing your own research too. After all, that’s what we’re here for isn’t it? To discover the truth about these amazing objects. Increasing their beauty.
