Fantastic Four Comic Album Key Issue 1969

£40.00

Categories: ,

Fantastic soft cover 68-page collection of the following stories:

1/ This Man… This Monster

2/ The Way It Began

3/ The Peril and the Power

Great stories and a now very rare album, which is most notorious for its bizarre internal colouring of the characters, as World Distributors’ colourists seemingly worked from black and white artwork and coloured the stories in using their best guesses as to what colours each character should be.

The second volume was in black and white.

Condition is excellent, bar some tippex-ing on three pages… Fortunately they are on the introductory pages which are pretty much blank anyway, so doesn’t affect the whole too much. A few of the pages have come loose, yet I guess these can be carefully glued back in.

The cover and pages themselves are all fine, plus the colours are still sharp, crisp… and bizarre indeed 😉

A great chance to own a key part of Marvel History.
